A Global Minimum Tax?
Sean kicked off Friday's show laughing in disbelief at Vice-President Joe Biden's suggestion that we should create a global minimum tax. "We want to create (what's called) a global minimum tax, because American taxpayers shouldn't be providing a larger subsidy for investing abroad than investing at home," Biden said at a campaign event. The problem is, America's corporate tax rate is already exceedingly high - on Sunday, it will be the highest in the world. "All those nuts that thought that a one world government was coming might not have been so wrong," said Sean shaking his head incredulously. The President's plan would punish firms that outsource jobs by taxing foreign earnings even more heavily, with the goal of encouraging them to "in-source" in the United States. But J.D. Foster of the Heritage Foundation explained that the policy would have the opposite effect - profitable multinational corporations would become ripe for sale to overs eas companies who could buy up the assets and escape Obama's tax penalty. And the global minimum tax would only make U.S. companies bigger targets for international takeover. For more on this story please visit the Heritage Foundation by clicking here.

Dick Morris
Sean spoke with Dick Morris via the NewsMaker hotline about our growing dependence on foreign oil. Morris talked to Sean about how President Bush had us on the path to energy independence and had we stayed on that path we would not need to buy oil from terrorist nations. Additionally, Morris discussed the remaining candidates in the race for 2012 and the growing list of endorsements for Romney. Morris felt the best course of action for Santorum would be for him to pull out before Pennsylvania, so that he could leave before a defeat in his home state. Morris believes that Santorum has managed to scare every independent woman in America, which was a big blow to Santorum's run and in essence empowered Romney's campaign making him look like the savior - which ultimately sen the independent vote to Romney. Obama Mega-Donor Spike Lee Embroiled In Controversy
Another Obama mega-donor and supporter is under fire. First it was Bill Maher, now it's Spike Lee. The filmmaker re-tweeted what he thought was Trayvon Martin's shooter's address to his 200,000-plus followers. Except Lee didn't bother to check if the address really was that of George Zimmerman, and erroneously blasted out an elderly couple's location, prompting death threats and hate mail. Lee finally apologized, and Lee settled with the couple. According to their attorney, Lee agreed to compensate them for their loss and the disruption to their lives. It is important to note that Spike Lee, like Bill Maher is a big Obama supporter. Back in January, he held a fund-raiser for the president at his house that netted him $1.6 million. In light of the president's position and lectures on civil discourse, wouldn't returning the money that Spike Lee helped him to raise be the right thing to do? No pun intended. Sean invited Fox News contributors Tamara Holder and Deneen Borel li to 'Hannity' to debate the issue. You can watch the entire discussion by clicking here.
