Rushing To Judgment In Martin Case?
Sean kicked off Thursday's show by discussing the Trayvon Martin case. Sean cautioned his audience that we "don't know all of the facts yet, and we're still trying to piece it all together. Many people, especially the liberal media have rushed to judgment on this case. "There is no way to get away from this fact, that a seventeen year old young man is dead today that should not be dead. Yet, it happens everyday, in every state, in small towns and big cities across the country." Sean argued that there are very smart people and very good programs out there that could help fix this problem of unnecessary violence. "Let's get all the facts first. It's as if they've come up with the sentencing first, and then will come up with the verdict afterward. Unfortunately what you're looking at in this case is 'agenda politics.' We need to wait for a full accounting of the facts, an arrest, a trial if there is one, to punish George Zimmerman. Punishment in the end might well be in order, but the punishment should be based on facts with real evidence, and real witnesses - but we're a long way from there," Sean concluded.

Romney/Gingrich Involved In Secret Meeting?
Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich held a previously unreported meeting on Saturday, The Washington Times reported today, as rumors have begun to swirl that the former House speaker will drop out of the race. Gingrich told the paper that he did not make a deal with the former Massachusetts governor to quit his run, which he has insisted will go on even after numerous primary losses and a report earlier this week that his staff will be cut by a third. Mitt Romney, who joined the show via the NewsMaker Hotline, pooh-poohed the secret meeting to Sean. "You know Sean we're pretty much in regular communication between the two campaigns. There's nothing new, nothing really exciting other than we keep a friendly discourse open in part because we're all on the same team. We all do want to see Barack Obama leave the White House as soon as possible. That being said we don't disclosure our secret campaign strategies," Romney joked.
Marco Rubio Endorses Mitt Romney
From the moment that Senator Marco Rubio hit the political stage, America took notice and so did the Republican Party. Rubio joined Sean on 'Hannity' and endorsed front-runner Mitt Romney. "I am going to endorse Mitt Romney and the reason why, it's not only because he's going to be the Republican nominee, but he offers at this point, such a stark contrast to the president's record," said Rubio. "Romney, in addition to being successful as a governor, has also been successful in the private sector and offers a very clear alternative to the direction this president is going to take our country. So we have to come together behind who I think has earned the nomination, and that's Mitt Romney." Mark Levin on Anticipation - Posted by Unaffiliated

I don't usually catch the Mark Levin show but I did the other night on my way home. He brought up an interesting point when talking about the healthcare/insurance debate. He said the government cannot act or force its citizens to act in an anticipatory manner. Part of the government's argument is that, at some point, every citizen will be a participant in the healthcare market so the commerce clause comes into play. "Anticipating" this involvement, the government wants to insist (or face a fee penalty) everyone buy in to the market.
