The Last of Gingrich?
Tuesday, April 24th | |
It’s Primary Tuesday in five northeastern states and it seems that Governor Mitt Romney is poised to secure victories in all five including a closely watched race in Delaware. Talk has already turned from if Governor Romney will win to when he will win. Sean sat down with Florida Senator Marco Rubio to get his thoughts on the possibility of him being Governor Romney’s VP candidate. “I have to give you a hard time about a slip of the tongue you made last week,” began Hannity, “If the Romney campaign were to come to you and ask, would you consider being a part of that?” “Governor Romney has begun a formal process,” offered Rubio, showing how confident Governor Romney is over his chances at the nomination,” We should respect that process.” While the Senator is required to be silent on this issue at this point, he was one of the first to support Governor Romney and his rising star status certainly makes him a le ading candidate for the position. Newt Gingrich Sean was joined by Newt Gingrich to get a status update on his campaign. “You’ve said you were in this until Tampa,” began Sean, “And you’ve also talked about the importance of the party platform being done right, so where do you stand with all that?” “We’re going to be in Tampa as an active candidate or as a party leader,” quipped Gingrich, “I’ve said that Governor Romney will be the nominee when he gets to 1044 delegates and he’s not there yet. “You’ve said that Governor Romney would not manage change boldly,” pressed Hannity, “Do you think he’s changed?” “His reaction to the Ryan budget has been encouraging,” acknowledged Gingrich, “Romney has been supportive of the plan and that’s a good thing.” |
Obama vs. Constitution Sean was joined by John Yoo, author of, “Taming Globalization”, to discuss President Obama’s abysmal Constitutional violations. “The narrative of the left has been that George W. Bush was the president reducing civil liberties,” began Sean, “but it’s the opposite that is true here.” “I think Obama has done more to hurt the civil liberties of Americans than Bush,” argued Yoo, “Obama Care is a sweeping deprivation of American civil liberties.” “Why is this okay when a Democrat President does it,” pressed Hannity. “Liberal elites control the main stream media and universities,” began Yoo’s explanation, “They’re the ones that provide a lot of the commentary on these constitutional issues.” While Sean has dedicated his entire life to breaking that stranglehold, the truth is there’s a lot of work left to do and that’s why President Obama has b een able to get away with more than his Republican predecessors. Today’s “Hot Topic” From The Hannity Forums: John Lovitz on Obama-By Smacktalker I love that Democrats are getting a taste of what fearless leader intends for them. They are tools for him. I love Jon Lovitz and I'm glad he woke up. I really can't believe any Jewish person would vote for Obama in America. This is the first in a soon to be long line of defections from Obama. I've heard the NY Times had an article "exposing the real Obama", but I'm not sure if it's a wake up or the reality of the political situation coming to roost in November. If the NY Times is waking up and guys like Lovitz are saying this, there is Big Trouble in Little China (Obama White House). Take a few moments and read the words written by Lovitz. You may uh.... Love-it!? Check out Lovitz' comments here. >>TV Tonight (Hannity FoxNews at 9pm ET): Sean has the latest results from the GOP primaries. |
