LOCAL COMMUTER ALERT

Metro closes 3 Red Line stations, 1 Blue Line station for weekend track work


Starting 10 p.m. tonight and continuing through the end of service Sunday, Metro has closed three Red Line stations between Rhode Island Avenue and Silver Spring, and the Arlington Cemetery station on the Blue Line, for track and station maintenance. Buses will transport riders around the gaps in service.

There also will be significant street closures and parking restrictions downtown around the IMF and World Bank buildings through 7 p.m. Sunday.
