Much has been made of Governor Romney’s involvement with Bain Capital, specifically the assertion that he was personally involved in the termination of thousands of jobs at the venture capitalist company. President Obama made headlines yesterday when he tipped his hand at criticizing Governor Romney for his role as a manager for the company. Former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin joined Sean to discuss her thoughts on the debate. “Governor Romney can’t be surprised at these attacks,” offered Palin on Sean’s TV show last night, “He should forcefully, candidly and proudly defend his record because, if he doesn’t, Obama will obviously put him in poor light.” It does seem that Governor Romney is fighting back against these attacks, which is encouraging for his supporters. While it’s clear that President Obama intends to make this a #1 campaign issue, it’s fairly easy to argue that Governor Romney& rsquo;s focus on economic growth will ultimately shine brighter. Bill Donohue Bill Donohue, President of the Catholic League, joined Sean to echo sentiments he made earlier about a controversial April 16th episode of The Daily Show with John Stewart where images of a naked Virgin Mary appeared. Shortly after the segment aired, Delta Airlines pulled all advertising of the popular political satire, though skating around the issue of whether the decision was linked to the controversy. Cereal maker Kelloggs, on the other hand, refused to pull advertising and even went further saying, “Consumers speak most loudly when they vote with their remote controls and change the channel if a program does not fit their personal criteria.” An angry Donahue mentioned, “This is Kellogg’s telling Christians to shove it and therefor we need to call a national boycott on them.” For more on this story, click here. |

| Congressman Alan West Sean was joined by Congressman Allen West to talk about a very disturbing trend in Florida. Just recently, Florida election officials identified nearly 53,000 voters who are dead and yet still registered to vote in the state. “There are 53,000 voters who are dead but are on the rolls,” began Hannity, “How many dead people are living in Florida?” “Yeah, it’s like Thriller, we may have a bunch of zombies walking around here,” laughed West, “We have the issue identified and we’re going to make sure we have integrity in our process and we need to do that across the entire country.” While 53,000 might sound like a small clerical error considering there are millions of voters in this country, we could all ask Al Gore the question about what 53,000 Floridians can do for a campaign. The article goes on to say that the jump may be a statistical anomaly, and the tests used aren't the most accurate, so the 23% number may be a bit too high, but the overall trend is the issue.
