Judicial Win But A Political Loss Sean kicked off a busy news day jokingly coaxing conservatives off a ledge after the terrible decision by the Supreme Court to uphold ObamaCare. "Just hold on a minute," Sean urged, "just slow down here a second. I am far more resolved now than I have ever been. I have learned over the years to put everything in perspective and to look at overall bigger trends - there are just other ways to see things. And I'm seeing this ruling in a different perspective," Sean said reassuringly. "Yes it was a bad decision. Yes it's a bad law. Yes it was a disappointing ruling by Justice Roberts. Democrats did get a judicial victory, but the Supreme Court also handed the president what I think is a political loss. The court rules on whether something is constitutional, it does not rule on whether something is a good idea," Sean added. The Supreme Court essentially ruled that while it believes ObamaCare is constitutional, it also validated that the president's bl oated healthcare law is indeed a tax increase on the citizens of the United States. ObamaCare Ruling Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel for the American Center for Law & Justice, David Limbaugh Attorney and Author of " The Great Destroyer," and Congressman Randy Forbes of Virginia, joined Sean in the second hour of the show to discuss the ObamaCare ruling. "This is the largest increase on the middle class in American history," Sekulow told Sean. "John Roberts is right, it is not the job of the Supreme Court to protect the people from their political choices," explained Sekulow, but he strongly disagreed with Roberts on his defense of this law. Limbaugh felt that the ruling is incredibly invasive on the American people as it sets a precedent for Congress to implicate taxes moving forward on American citizens. Sekulow added that this ruling might be constitutional but it is not good law. Forbes explained that the freedoms we believed in dividing the powers of an over reaching government and the judicial arm of government has been extinguished. Sean explaine d that this is a huge deciding vote for the American people to not re-elect Barack Obama. Over 60% of Americans do not agree with this bill. It appears that Roberts got this wrong and ultimately the American people will have the opportunity to correct this ruling voting for Governor Mitt Romney in November.

What Do Americans Really Think About ObamaCare? "The Architect," Karl Rove, joined Sean and pollster Frank Luntz from the great state of Texas for a special focus group on ObamaCare. Luntz asked the group of men and women who they voted for in the last presidential election. Two-thirds of the people in the focus group raised their hands. Luntz then asked how many supported ObamaCare. Only a few hands were raised. This small focus group seemed to really highlight the sentiment of the larger voting population in the country - nobody seems to like ObamaCare. "I don't like the government is going to tell us what we have to buy. They are going to try to mandate who we go to and what kind of treatment that we get," one man in the group told Sean. "I don't like it because of cost control. It just spirals the expense of health care and doesn't really fix the system," a woman told Luntz.
