Moody's Investors Service downgraded more than a dozen global banks, including the five largest U.S. banks with global trading arms, to reflect declining profitability in an industry that has been hit hard by soft economic growth, tougher regulations and skittish investors. "There is a real undercurrent here endangering the entire global economy," said Sean starting off Friday's show. "What you see in Greece, Spain and in other parts of the world is the start of socialism. The United States is saddled in debt, 5 trillion of which is Obama debt, and you've got to think that that's two hundred thousand dollars per person in this country in debt! Our children and our grandchildren are going to spend most of their lives repaying this debt unless we reverse course. We are at a tipping point. Either we follow the route of Greece or we as a country, we turn around, embrace the concept of individual liberty and freedom, celebrate capitalism and we don't impugn ha rd work and success," Sean said adamantly. Webb vs Ungar David Webb, host of the David Webb Show on Sirius and Rick Ungar, Democratic Strategist and Forbes Contributor, joined the show to discuss the separatism and divisiveness of this political season. Webb discussed how the far left activists are driving the message of the Democrats - stealing away the message from Kennedy Democrats. Rick Ungar argued that while there certainly are people that are out of pocket, there are plenty of Democrats that are still single minded and don't need guidance from extremists. Sean also discussed the Fast and Furious hearings with both guests. All agreed the death of Brian Terry has become very politicized. Ungar believes the focus on immigration laws and border controls have been lost in translation and the focus instead has been on the death of a poor border patrol agent. Webb concurred and also felt Eric Holder isn't telling the truth. All agreed Holder is now caught in quite a predicament with not many options. |
