A Gaffe A Minute By Team Obama

"The Anointed One", still reeling from his 'you didn't build it' gaffe from last week, tried to bring some humor to an appearance he made in Oakland, CA last night. He told an audience that after trying out the Republicans" failed top-down economics, "we tried our plan and it worked. That's the difference. That's the choice in this election. That's why I'm running for a second term." However, the joke fell on deaf ears as many of the attendees are among the 13 million currently unemployed Americans. Also yesterday, Virginia State Democratic Rep. Louise Lucas, an official Obama surrogate and a member of his Virginia "Truth Team" said in a radio interview that Mitt Romney is courting the American racist vote. "Let's be real clear about it... let's be real clear. Mitt Romney is speaking to a group of people out there who don't like folks like Barack Obama in any elected or leadership position. We know what's going on here and some people may be afraid to say it but I am not. I am not afraid to say it," Lucas said. "Do I need to even comment on this?" Sean asked incredulously. "All I know is Louise Lucas was hand-picked by the Obama campaign to represent Obama. If there was any Republican who said something similar the reaction from the media would have been much different," Sean added. Newt: Rejecting The Dishonest Obamacare Tax Newt Gingrich joined the second hour of the program to discuss taxes and Obamacare with Sean. Newt referenced a new e-book he recently published called, "No Taxation by Misrepresentation: Rejecting the Dishonest Obamacare Tax." In Gingrich's in-depth essay he considers what President Obama told the public when he was trying to pass the health care bill and contrasts it with the arguments his administration made before the Supreme Court to defend the law. He then reveals the stunning claims made by President Obama and his allies since the Supreme Court ruling - asking whether an American president has the power to rewrite history and alter forever the bond between the people and their elected representatives. As Sean put it, this book and its appendices are an invaluable resource for anyone who wants to understand the best case against the President this fall. Air Force Jet Fuel Uproar The United States Air Force caused an uproar when it was revealed by Reuters that the USAF bought thousands of gallons of synthetic jet fuel for $59 a gallon, compared to traditional fuel that only would cost $3.60. Believe it or not, this waste of your taxpayer money was part of the administration's so-called green energy plan, aimed at lowering fuel costs. But not only did this test squander thousands of your dollars, according to Reuters, the company this expensive bio-fuel was purchased from was backed by a mega donor of Obama - a guy named Vinod Khosla who has given thousands of dollars to the president. Sean was joined by author Peter Schweizer, author of " Throw Them All Out," to discuss the controversy. Schweizer explained that the expensive jet fuel purchase was only the tip of the iceberg. "The problem Sean that if you look at the problem with waste and cronyism in Washington, it's very hard to cover it up, once the media gets onto it. The one area that in government, that people, the American people, still support a lot of spending on is in the military. So the military's become this dumping ground now for this kind of crony capitalism that we've talked about." To watch Sean's entire interview with Peter Schweizer, please click here.
