Sean spent some time on Monday with former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu and Fox News contributor Juan Williams, to discuss the 2012 elections. A few weeks ago, President Obama found himself in hot water for being critical of small business owners and saying that the private sector is “doing fine.” Sean has great coverage on Hannity.com of all of President Obama’s gaffes here. “ The comments that the President has made will come back to haunt him,” began Hannity, “Am I right?” “These will be defining moments in this campaign,” agreed Governor Sununu, “These were statements made by a President who does not know how to create jobs in America.” “There are fears out there that are being fed,” countered Williams, “When Romney insults Great Britain or when Governor Romney bets $10,000, I think that’s a slip of the tongue and not Mitt Romney.” “What exactly can Mitt Romney do to get the economy again,” pressed Williams. “He will address the silliness of this Obama administration in resisting bringing our shale energy process online which would allow American manufacturing to have a competitive source of energy,” quickly answered Sununu,” He’s also going to cut the top tax rates for corporations from 35 percent to 25 percent.” If you’d like to listen to this interview in its entirety, click here. It’s definitely a great battle between two very talented minds in the political arena this year. Romney: Tough on Iran Governor Mitt Romney has returned from his trip to Israel where he, in no uncertain terms, offered his support for Israel going so far as to say he’d support initiatives to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. “I thought this was his best speech in this entire campaign,” praised Hannity, “This was the strongest foreign policy statement Mitt Romney has made and I felt good about it, he gets it.” “I thought this was detailed and passionate,” agreed Romney, “If you care about Israel, I don’t think you could ask for much more.” The key to America’s security is to have a strong ally in the Middle East, something that has been in jeopardy throughout the Obama administration. | Battle in Texas Texas senatorial candidate Ted Cruz joined Sean to discuss the primary battle happening in his state. “If you win this, you’ll be the next Senator of the state of Texas,” began Hannity, “I’ve endorsed you but why are so many conservatives in your corner?” “We’re in a crisis and we’re going broke,” offered Cruz, “All over the country, voters are looking for leaders to stand up and stop spending money we don’t have because ultimately we’re jeopardizing the future of our grandkids.” The Texas Tribune reports that Cruz is locked in a dead heat battle and that voter turnout will be crucial to Mr. Cruz’ victory.
