Juan Williams and Ann Coulter join Sean to discuss Juan’s criticism of Ann Romney that has made headlines last night when he said that Governor Romney’s wife was a “corporate wife.” “I don’t even know what to say to you,” began Williams, “You and I are good friends, but why would you say something like ‘she hasn’t worked a day in her life’ type comment, why would you say that?” “My remarks were a criticism of her speech and not Mrs. Romney,” defended Williams, “I was talking about the economic argument that she was trying to say, that she knew the economic struggles of people trying to make it today, I just didn’t buy it.” “I don’t see this corporate wife thing being such a big deal, I must say,” laughed Coulter, “It was a great speech and Juan is the liberal and he needed to find something to criticize.” To listen to this interview in i ts entirety, click here. @SeanHannity Tweet Of The Day Great to meet this talented musician and Great American before he goes on stage @TraceAdkins | Pic Newt Gingrich Sean was joined by Newt Gingrich to get his thoughts on the future of the Romney campaign. “The Obama camp took a huge gamble this summer and poured a lot of money trying to define Romney and they didn’t succeed,” began Gingrich, “They’re going into September with Romney having a huge financial advantage and the Gallup polls show them in a statistical dead heat.” “They can’t say they’ve done anything positive for the country,” piled on Hannity, “So now they’re trying to tell you that Republicans want to throw grandma over the cliff.” “Dishonesty is a function of desperation,” offered Gingrich, “You have to look at the polls more carefully, among those most likely to vote, the Republican margin has increased.” The latest Gallup Polls are here, and showing a 1% lead by President Obama. After the summer of attacks that Mitt Romney has endured, that’s not a bad place to be entering this week. |
Dr. Condoleezza Rice Dr. Condoleezza Rice joins Sean to talk about her future plans. “I’ve yet to see an interview where you admitted you were being vetted for Vice President,” began Hannity, “I know you want to be NFL commissioner.” “That’s right, maybe when Roger Goodell gets a little of this back on another plain,” laughed Rice, “I’m a very happy professor at Stanford these days.” “I wouldn’t be surprised if President Romney were to have you in his cabinet,” praised Hannity, “So I’m just trying to prepare you that there might be a road bump on your way to becoming NFL commissioner.” “I have done what I could do, and I wrote this book, “ No Higher Honor” because I believe there’s no higher honor than serving your government but I really don’t want to go back to Washington,” quickly responded Rice, “The answer is still no.” While it sounds like it would take some real begging, here’s to hoping Governor Romney has the chance to beg Dr. Rice to return to service.
