The Science Behind Victory

Sean was joined by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani to get an update on today’s shootings at the Empire State Building. “This is so sad to hear these tragedies,” began Hannity, “It seems like it’s happening almost every day.” “The city is so big,” responded Mayor Giuliani, “When I was mayor it seemed a day didn’t go by when there wasn’t some sort of crisis.” “I still don’t think that firearm legislation is the answer,” offered Hannity. “I’m glad to hear Mayor Bloomberg didn’t mention that this time,” praised the former Mayor, “The best and only answer to this is to police the city and, in this case, cops were right there and shot this guy.” While the details of this story are still coming out, it is great to hear how fast and professionally the New York City police force acted. The Science Behind A Romney Victory Dr. Ken Bickers joins Sean to explain the science behind a Romney victory. “What we’ve done is use some familiar economic indicators at the state level to determine the outcome of the race,” explained Dr. Bickers, “Where the model does the worst is when there is a significant 3rd party candidate.” “In 2008 you had picked 48 out of 50 States,” pressed Hannity, “What are you predicting this year?” “Right now we’re predicting 320 for Romney,” answered Bickers, “The closest state is Wisconsin and we see it as very close.” “Of the 13 key swing states we show Romney holding all but New Mexico, Michigan and Nevada,” added Bickers, “Pennsylvania and Colorado are very close so we’re very eager to see the economic results released in September.” For more information on Dr. Bickers’ research and methodology, click here. |
Shadowbosses Sean was joined by Mallory Factor, author of the new book “Shadowbosses,” a stunning look at the power of government unions and how they’ve been able to impact public policy through the United States. Last Spring, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker came under fire for taking measures to curtail government union benefits. In those efforts, Governor Walker cited a poor economy and a bottomless amount of benefits in trying to cut government union benefits. At the time, Sean covered this story daily when it occured, you can visit Hannity.com to recap that battle. In talking with Factor, Sean began, “This book is the truth about government unions and god forbid that you try and get ahold of people’s pensions so you can prevent it from getting raided, I refer to the relationship between government unions and the Democrats an unholy alliance.” “That’s the best way to refer to it,” quickly responded Factor, “The American people have no idea what’s going on but thanks to you, they do.” If you haven’t taken a moment to understand this somewhat complicated issue, please check out Hannity.com and follow the story of Governor Walker’s efforts to portion benefits to government workers in Wisconsin. This is an issue that will come up again in the very near future as responsible politicians look to balance their books. For more on Shadowbosses, click here.
