Will Isaac Threaten The Republican Convention?

The Show Must Go On
Sean spoke with weather forecaster Joe Bastardi of Weather Bell about the increasing threat of Tropical Storm Isaac on the Republican National Convention next week. Tropical Storm Isaac is forecast to become a hurricane later this week as it moves west-northwestward, touring the northern Caribbean with heavy rain and gusty winds. The severity of the conditions would depend on how close the system tracks to the west coast of Florida, the angle of the track, versus the coast and intensity of the storm itself. "If the convention were in Miami, Naples, or Charleston that's one thing. But this is not set up for major storm in Tampa Bay," Joe explained. Bastardi's storm model may be the one the RNC is looking at as Republican officials just announced that they are moving forward with plans to hold the convention on Monday as scheduled { Article}.

Karl Rove
"The Architect" Karl Rove joined Sean to share his opinions on the steady rate of unemployment and joblessness in the nation. "Mr. Romney's negatives are easier to reverse," Rove explained comparing and contrasting Romney vs. Obama. "Mr. Obama's, by contrast, are related to his performance in office, especially on the economy. A July 16 CBS/New York Times poll found 46% of voters (and 53% of independents) saying that his economic policies "will never improve" the economy. That's a very harsh assessment," commented Rove. Rove detailed which states are "toss ups" and which are "must haves." Rove explained that Ohio is going to be a big battleground state, but feels good about Romney's chances there and in Florida. Democrats Use Akin To Attack GOP Ticket
Democrats are desperately attempting to tie the Republican presidential and vice presidential contenders to the recently controversial comments made by embattled Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin. That's right. Despite the fact that Mitt Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, immediately denounced the congressman's comments and called for him to drop out of the race, the left, liberals, are pathetically attempting to suggest that Romney and Ryan actually agree with Akin. Even worse, the Democratic National Committee is looking to raise money over what almost all conservatives agree are absolutely inexcusable comments. Clearly, this is a desperate party that wants to talk about anything except the failed record of President Obama. But, as usual, Sean is holding the president accountable. To help him do just that, Ann Coulter, author of the number one New York Times bestseller, "Demonic," joined Sean on "Hannity." To watch the entire interview please click here.
