The Great Deception Campaign
Tuesday, February 26th | |
The greatest deception campaign in the history of the United States has begun, all for the sake of one's radical ideology. This is what it has been reduced to under President Obama. Do you want to cut spending for poor people? Higher taxes, more spending, record deficits and now the President has put eviscerated our military readiness and border patrol agents won't be working. Hundreds of thousands of Americans will lose access to cancer screens and vaccinations and, in New York 2,300 disadvantaged children could lose childcare. This will all happen because those evil Republicans aren't pandering to my request for sequester. I heard the President say today, and this was the last straw for me, that we're going to have to choose between cutting support for poor children and disabled children. That's not what this choice is about! The Administration tries to tell us that, if we dare to cut 85 billion dollars out of a 48 trillion dollar budget, mass suffering will happen a nd Republicans will pay the price at the polls. What is so confusing though is that Republicans have granted President Obama the power to make the cuts where he wants to make them as opposed to making across the board cuts, so why then, besides political reasons, would he be causing such a stir? It's politics, plain and simple. Selling Access If there was ever a story to upset the Occupy Wall Street crowd over the influence of money in politics, this would be it. The New York Times (of all places) reported over the weekend that the supposedly "independent" Organizing for America is offering quarterly direct access to the President for donors who are raising at least $500,000 for the organization. The organization just happens to support Obama's agenda. When questioned about the report, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney literally ran away from the podium directing reporter to contact the organization. So we have the self-proclaimed "most transparent administration in history" essentially offering direct access to the president, for those who donate to an organization which happens to support all of the presidents policies. Seems like something that would cause Democrat and mainstream media outrage, if it wasn't for the fact that it is Barack Obama. |
Outrageous Statement of the Day: Biden Crazy Uncle Joe was at it again yesterday. One has to wonder how out of touch he really has to be to make this statement: "[The American people are] no longer traumatized by what was a traumatizing event, the great collapse in 2008. They're no longer worried, I think, about our economy being overwhelmed either by Europe writ large, the EU, or China somehow swallowing up every bit of innovation that exists in the world. They're no longer, I think, worried about our -- our economy being overwhelmed beyond our shores, but -- and I don't think there are any more -- there's no -- there's very little doubt in any circles out there about America's ability to be in position to lead the world in the 21st century." Maybe in Washington, they believe they have led a solid recovery. The rest of us here in America beg to differ. For more please click here. Today's "Hot Topic" From the Hannity Forums You Can't Do Things By Yourself - Posted by The Bos'un In a speech in Virginia today the never ending Campaigner in Chief, B Hussein Obama said, "You can't do things by yourself. That's not how our system works. You've got to have the help and the goodwill of Congress, and what that means is you've got to make sure that constituents of members of Congress are putting some pressure on them, making sure they're doing the right thing." It is interesting that he wants to put pressure through in constant campaigning and fails to go back to Washington, visit the Legislature and win over the hearts and minds of the House and Senate. >> TV Tonight (Hannity FoxNews at 9pm ET): Republicans are urging Obama to end the 'road show' and work with Congress to avoid the sequester.
