FBI investigating 'suspicious letter' sent to Obama

A spokesperson in the FBI's Washington Field Office said a "suspicious letter" sent to President Obama was intercepted at a White House mail facility on Thursday morning. The FBI is investigating the letter but does not yet know whether the letter tested positively for ricin.

The news comes after ricin-laced letters were sent to several other Washington political figures earlier this year, including Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), and a day after a ricin-laced letter was sent to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg (I).
