Watch Out For Rabbits
Tuesday, May 28th | |
I’ve been saying this for a while now, watch out for rabbits. What do I mean by rabbits? They’re not real rabbits but we’ve got President Obama in New Jersey tossing the football with Governor Chris Christie and patting each other on the back and telling each other how great they are. I’m trying to figure out why Chris Christie is meeting with Obama but Governor Cuomo, a Democrat, isn’t meeting with the President when he’s in New York. There’s something going on there but I haven’t figured it out yet. Don’t worry though, I will. Long, Hot Summer We are in for a long, hot summer. I've got to be honest, I didn't expect for us to spend the summer juggling multiple high-level scandals in Washington DC. I doubt this administration planned for that either. In fact, I know what this administration planned to focus on this summer: ObamaCare. Despite the scandals swirling around his administration, they are continuing with their plans as if nothing has happened. The plan? Barack Obama will be back in full-on campaign mode this summer to sell ObamaCare to the American public. According to NPR, “The White House is gearing up for a massive campaign this summer that will cover all 50 states, plus Washington, D.C.” In other words, Barack Obama will be sticking to what he does best, which is campaigning. Meanwhile, what can we expect from the media? I expect the lapdog ObamaMania media coverage of these scandals to fade and thus begins the critique of those who continue to cover them as being anti-Obama or right-wing obsessions. They will attempt to make us chase rabbits, covering other administration-friendly stories in such a way so as to try and distract. But I've got news for them, I'll be here all summer long covering these scandals. I'm not going anywhere. For more on this, check out my article on Hannity.com. |
Outrageous Statement of the Day: Mathews on Ted Cruz Chris Matthews is no stranger to the outrageous. This is a man who gets tingles up his leg when he hears Obama speak. Whatever sensation he gets when he hears Obama speak, the opposite can be said for when he hears Ted Cruz speak. One thing is for certain, Ted Cruz must be doing one helluva job in Washington because he sure does bring the crazy out of the Left, and even some on the Right (John McCain)! In a recent rant, Matthews said that Ted Cruz is “the unsmiling contemptuous face of the wild, nasty hard-right fringe of a party that once competed with the Democrats to be the country's governing party. All Cruz wants to do is prove that self-government is evil or impossible, or whatever else will justify his existence as a hard-right political bomb thrower.” You can get the full rant here. Apparently those who go to Washington and refuse to bend to its ways are now “political bomb throwers.” I'll bet that more Americans wish they had more Ted Cruz's in Washington than you would think.
