Today, Obama Pivots
Earlier in the week I told you about Obama's campaign speech tour that he is set to begin today. He will be giving a series of of speeches re-focusing on the economy. Or as some like to call it: Obama is pivoting back to the economy. Is this his 8th, 10th, 19th pivot back to the economy? Who's counting? But it does tell us a few things about this presidency. In a brand new  Gallup Poll released today, the economy and jobs remain at the top of the list of the most important problems facing our country. I'd argue that those issues have been at the top of the list for years, yet Obama has chosen to take his eye off the issue several times in order to focus on implementing his progressive liberal agenda. However, when he does return to the issue of the economy and jobs, Obama seems stuck on the same tax-and-spend ideas that haven't proven successful. The fact is that according to a new  McClatchy-Marist poll, a majority of Americans (54%) still believe that we are in a recession. Technically speaking, that is not true but it still feels that way to many Americans outside the New York-Washington corridor. That's not good for this president. But if you listen to Obama, he apparently believes entirely the opposite! He said earlier in the week, “Now, the good news is over the last five years, we fought alongside people like Nancy Pelosi. But most importantly, because of the grit and resilience and determination of the American people, we’ve been able to clear away the rubble and get back to where we were.” Did you catch that last part – Back to where we were? Is Obama kidding himself? We still have fewer people working today than we did when he became president. Median income has dropped over 7% since the r ecession ended. The labor force participation rate is at an all-time low. We are not expected to reach full employment until after Obama leaves office. Our economy is growing at a measly average of 1.9%. That is hardly what I would describe as “getting back to where we were.”
More Weiner Messages Revealed
Yesterday it was revealed that disgraced former Democrat Congressman Anthony Weiner has continued to engage in the same, sick behavior that got him into trouble in 2011. Weiner resigned from Congress in 2011 after it was revealed that he was engaged in all sorts of salacious activity, which came to light after he accidentally tweeted a lewd picture of himself. Weiner apparently sought therapy and marriage counseling and had worked through his problems, or so we were told. A gossip website has revealed explicit messages that have been confirmed to be that of Anthony Weiner (his nickname: Carlos Danger) and were sent to a 22 year old woman. They were apparently sent after his scandal erupted in 2011, causing him to resign from Congress. Some estimate that this behavior went well into August 2012. In other words, the guy continued to engage in the same, sleazy behavior while leading the rest of us to believe that he had changed. His reaction to the newest revelations wa s something to the effect of, “I'm surprised more things didn't out sooner.” Like that is supposed to make us feel any better? We have enough important issues to worry about in this country without allowing Anthony Weiner's perverted habits to distract us. But the brazenness of his actions is disturbing and should give us pause into who is really deserving of public office. Are we electing people to represent us, or are we electing people based on a sick fascination with their personal failures? For more check out  Hannity.com.

Rush A Few Days Ago - Posted by MGifford
I heard it a few days ago, now Rush is talking about a liberal who says that Football is no different than Vick's running dog fights. Now this will be very interesting, when I get a link with more information. My opinion is (tho I don't watch football) that that's the day the liberals will bite off way more than they can chew.

>>TV Tonight (9pm ET on Fox News)
Senator Rand Paul reacts to President Obama's latest efforts to focus on economic growth.
