Greetings,

As the Senate resumes work in Washington this week, one thing is becoming increasingly clear -- Obamacare is a disaster. Each day, new reports are being released that shine a spotlight on the millions of Americans who are losing their health care plans or being forced to pay significantly more because of the ironically named "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act." It must be stopped.

Please keep reading below for the latest on the fight to stop Obamacare. I'll continue to stand alongside the American people to stop the biggest job-killer in America and restore economic growth to our nation.

All the best,

Ted Cruz

HALLOWEEN ISN'T THE ONLY THING SPOOKING AMERICANS

Just this morning, CBS reported that nearly two million Americans will lose their health care plans as a result of Obamacare. In observance of Halloween this week, Sen. Cruz released a new video highlighting some of the scarier effects of Obamacare: higher premiums and reduced coverage for Americans. Watch and share the video.

ENSURING THE SAFETY OF TEXAS WOMEN AND CHILDREN

Yesterday, a federal judge issued a ruling to block part of a recently signed Texas law that requires abortion doctors to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals. Sen. Cruz responded saying, "Texas passed commonsense legislation to protect the health of women and their unborn children."

The Senator continued, "This law is constitutional and consistent with U.S. Supreme Court precedent protecting the life and health of the mother and child. I hope the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals will uphold Texas' reasonable law."

OBAMACARE ISN'T WORKING

Recently, Sen. Cruz joined Greta Van Susteren on Fox News channel to talk about some of the latest developments in the fight to stop Obamacare, what a disaster implementation has been, and the negative impacts the law is having on our economy and health care system. Watch and share the discussion.
