Obama Sinks With ObamaCare If Obama was intending to excite the base last night on his conference call with Organizing for Action - which was mired by its own technical glitches - he apparently failed to do so.  I've heard the call described as "morose" or "lack luster."  He even misspoke and claimed that over 100 million Americans had already enrolled in ObamaCare.  But the call was anything but "inspiring" or "exciting."  I can't blame him.  After all, the failed rollout of ObamaCare and its exchanges has led to a plummeting of Obama's approval rating.  A new poll today from ABC/Washington Post has Obama's approval at an all-time low for their records at just 42%.  As ObamaCare stumbles out of the gate and Obama's lies are exposed, his approval sinks like a rock.  These numbers reflect a 13 point drop just this year and a 6 point drop in the past month alone.  In fact, the numbers are so bad that if the 2012 election were held today, Mitt Romney would be elected president .  That's stunning.Polls numbers are sinking all around the president.  ObamaCare has its highest disapproval rating to date with 57% of Americans opposed to the law.  In a dramatic shift, a new Gallup poll finds that a majority of Americans (56%) no longer believe it is the government's role to make sure that all Americans have healthcare, which is a record high.  That has reversed since 2009, before ObamaCare was passed.   What's In A Poll? Speaking of the ABC/Washington Post poll: The number of Americans who believe the country is on the wrong track is up 13 points in the last six months, reaching 70% in the latest poll.  Obama's numbers related to his honesty, trustworthiness and leadership are all down dramatically.  He's lost significant support (at least 20 points since January) among two key core constituencies: Independents and young people.  A notable difference this time around is that Obama's popularity has sunk as well; no longer are Americans separating his failed policies from the man himself. I also want to point out something that the Democrats are doing and that is pulling away from the use of the word "ObamaCare."  It's become a semi-joke, but it seems as though many Americans do not understand that there is a difference between ObamaCare and the Affordable Care Act.  The problem for Democrats is that ObamaCare has become associated with the negative aspects of the rollout, incompetence, etc.  So after embracing ObamaCare for a time, Democrats have seemingly decided to switch back to the Affordable Care Act and pray that many Americans aren't aware that we are really talking about the same thing.  So it goes in Washington. Gettysburg Address: 150 Years Later Today marks the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.  The famous remarks were made in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania in 1863 and marked a pivotal point in this nation's history. As many gather to reflect on this day, there is one person whose presence is notably absent from any related events: Barack Obama.  For a president who has often been compared, and tied himself, to Lincoln, the snub has rubbed many the wrong way.  Instead, Obama will remain in Washington to address the Wall Street Journal CEO Council's annual meeting at the Four Seasons Hotel.  Even if Obama himself did not make the decision not to commemorate this occasion, somebody in the White House should have the good sense to realize the optics of Obama's absence.  It's yet another misstep for an administration that could use all the help it can get.  Americans of past and present deserve better, particularly on this historic day.      Today's "Hot Topic" From the Hannity Forums: Dr. Refuses To Register New Patients For Refusing To Answer Gun Question - Posted by George WaltonOn Rush's  show this morning a caller said his wife went to a new doctor, and on the patient questionnaire were these  (ObamaCare) questions: Are there guns in your home? Are those guns loaded, and where do you store them? She  refused to answer them, and the office refused to register her as a new patient.
