| | | | | | | | | Has Hillary Ruined Her Chances At Becoming President? Guest host Mark Simone took the Hannity airwaves this afternoon and opened the show by discussing the sales, or lack thereof, of Hillary Clinton's new memoir. Sales of Mrs. Clinton's new memoir, "Hard Choices," declined 43.5 percent to 48,000 copies in its second week on the shelves, according to Nielsen BookScan. These poor sales numbers put pressure on the book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, which paid Mrs. Clinton a heafty multimillion-dollar advance to write about her time at the State Department.
Not only are her books sales lagging, but to add insult to injury, Edward Klein's new book, "Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. the Obamas," has skyrocketed past Hillary's and currently sits as the third highest selling book on Amazon.com (Hillary's isn't in the top 20).
"You can imagine what this might do to the huge Clinton ego," Simone said looking at the current Amazon rankings. Additionally, Hillary has found herself immersed in hot water over comments she made about being "dead broke" after leaving the White House in 2001. Yet, as the Wall Street Journal reports, the Clinton's managed to find the money to buy two houses in upscale neighborhoods and were never at risk of real financial distress. In post-presidency, Bill Clinton has collected tens of millions of dollars in paid speeches.
"Hillary is in real jeopardy of ruining her chances to become president," Simone warned. "This has been a disaster." | | | | | | The Clintons vs. The Obamas Author Edward Klein has been making waves by claiming in his new book, "Blood Feud," that the two most powerful families in the Democratic Party just don't get along, and that the relationship between the Clintons and Obamas has devolved into a downright venomous grudge match. Klein gave his first interview to Sean to discuss his new book.
According to Klein, Bill felt the Obamas played the race card on him and that they had planned to do it from the very beginning. "To this day, he talks about it almost, like, compulsively. How could they play the race card on me? I mean, he keeps on talking about it. He considers himself still the first black president, even though we now have a real black president," Klein told Sean. "Bill has also said repeatedly [about Obama] in private conversations among his friends and associates, that this guy is, as I once called him, an amateur. He's over his head. He's incompetent and he's constitutionally unable to really manage things," Klein explained.
Yet Bill agreed to back Obama in 2012. "They agreed during a golf game that Bill would go all out for Obama in 2012, even though he didn't like him and didn't think he deserved reelection, and he said so, if in return, Obama would promise to back Hillary in 2016. And that was the deal." For more on Edward Klein's explosive new book, please click here. | | | | | | | | | | | | |
