How Bill Clinton and Chuck Schumer saved the day for Hobby Lobby
The Bill Clinton, Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 saved the day for Hobby Lobby!
Can we talk about the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court Decision?
The liberals ignore the fact that their own beloved William Jefferson (Bill) Clinton, you know, the first black president, signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 into law. And, adding insult to injury, the law was introduced in the House by none other than Chuck Schumer, the liberal’s best friend. The Religious Freedom Restoration Act passed the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously, and passed overwhelmingly in the U.S. Senate, with only three dissenting votes.
Well, what is the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993? It was an act to guarantee religious freedom by stating, “Government shall not substantially burden a person’s exercise of religion even if the burden results from a rule of general applicability.” The Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment states that; Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...
One must understand the United States Supreme Court debate was not about the Affordable Care Act aka ObamaCare, no no no, the debate centered around this Clinton/Schumer law. Yep, how funny, the dems pass a law then have the audacity to protest the SCOTUS outcome. What repugnant hypocrites!
Another very interesting fact is that Hobby Lobby DOES provide it employees contraception, sixteen (16) types of contraceptives to be exact. This includes condoms and Birth-control pills with estrogen and progestin or with progestin alone. But now we must define the term “contraceptive” simply put a contraceptive prevents pregnancy. Hobby Lobby is not opposed to prevention, not at all. Their objection is to the taking of a human life,, A big really BIG difference.
Hobby Lobby opposes using the four (4) methods of killing the fertilized egg. Our government refers to these 4 drugs/devices as contraception, but they are really abortifacients, i.e. facilitate abortion. What are these four abortifacients?
<1.Plan B (“The Morning After Pill”)
<2.Ella (a similar type of “emergency contraception”)
<3.Copper Intra-Uterine Device
<4.IUD with progestin
A little history of David Green: Mr. Green, the owner of Hobby Lobby, is the son of an Assemblies of God preacher, and as a matter of fact, comes from a family of preachers. Mr. Green built his business on Biblical principles. Green directly relates his faith in God to his business success. David and wife Barbara put their money where their faith is, 50% of his pretax earnings and commits it directly to ministries. Reports are that he has donated over $500 Million. He is directly responsible for funding the placement of 1.4 Billion copies of Gospel literature in homes in over 100 countries.
So it is not a surprise that these Christians would oppose abortion and anything that looks, acts, smells like abortion. Now back to the SCOTUS decision. Actually, the contraception (broadly defined) mandate of the Barack Hussein Obama administration was not in the Affordable Care Act - Aka Obamacare. The mandate came from as a regulation by the Health and Human Services Department, well after ObamaCare was enacted. The HHS allowed for non-profit organizations to opt out, but would not allow a for-profit company to do the same. That fact along with the Clinton/Schumer Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, were the primary arguments and ultimately won the case for Hobby Lobby.
Predictably the most disingenuous of liberals, are speaking out.
Senator Harry Reid- “It’s time that five men on the Supreme Court stop deciding what happens to women.”
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi- “Supreme Court took an outrageous step against the rights of America’s women"
Elizabeth Warren- “Can't believe we live in a world where we'd even consider letting big corps deny women access to basic care based on vague moral objections.”
And the biggest liberal liar of them all, Hillary Clinton- called the Supreme Court’s ruling in the contraception-related Hobby Lobby case “deeply disturbing. Employers can impose their religious beliefs on their employees, and, of course, denying women the right to contraceptives as part of a health care plan is exactly that,” she said. “I find it deeply disturbing that we are going in that direction.” Additionally the 'Hildebeest' as Michelle Obama nicknamed her, said this- “It’s very troubling that a sales clerk at Hobby Lobby who need contraception, which is pretty expensive, is not going to get that service through her employer’s health care plan because her employer doesn’t think she should be using contraception,” Clinton said
The Greens are not imposing their beliefs on their employees; it was the Green’s religious rights, reaffirmed by her husband in 1993 with his signature on the Religious Freedom Restoration Act,,, that were being trampled. Trampled by the most lawless administration ever,,, the Barack Hussein Obama administration. Employees can do as they please if they want to kill their babies, go get their own morning after pill. The Hildebeest failed to note that Hobby Lobby does willingly provide 16 of the 20 contraceptive (broadly defined) methods.
But what difference, at this point does it make? See the YouTube video of the HildeBeest curbing the murder of four Americans to include United States Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
"Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night and decided they'd go kill some Americans," Clinton said. "What difference -- at this point, does it make?"
