TREY GOWDY - OPENING STATEMENT AT THE HOUSE JUDICIARY SUBCOMMITTEE HEARING TO EXAMINE THE SYRIAN REFUGEE CRISIS
Chairman Gowdy's opening statement at the House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing to examine the Syrian refugee crisis and the Impact on the security of U.S. refugee admissions program.
The safety and security of our citizens should be the driving force behind all decisions that we make as representatives.
He discusses terrorist taking the lives of over 100 in Paris, but says they only killed a 100 because they could not kill a 1,000. President Obama is too busy to debate the critical issue but uses absurd conclusions about widows and orphans.
Gowdy says he is not afraid of widows and orphans, but he is afraid of that Junior Varsity Team called ISIS ISIL.
