Mouth Meets Money

Dear Friend,

Yep, Jay Nordlinger always puts his money where his mouth is.

Will you?

Jay believes: How can I ask you to donate to National Review's Webathon if I won't do so myself?

The dude is a special cat. Smart, articulate, a brilliant writer, a fierce friend, a profoundly important conservative, it's because of Jay and his other gifted comrades -- Jonah, Victor, Andy, Eliana, Kevin, Charlie, Rich, Mona, Ramesh, Kat, KLO, and so many more -- that National Review has such a profound influence on the world.

He has written a wonderful plea explaining why you too should give. Why you, through your support, can (must!) play a vital part in helping NR fulfill the vital mission Bill Buckley established some 60 years ago.

Frankly, it's also about more than this mission. As Jay rightly explains, NR's value is also very . . . personal: "I often said of Bill (Buckley) that he and his confreres did not teach me what to think but how to think. I believe that NR provides the same service today. Which is extremely valuable."

Darn straight.

I need you to help us. $25, $50, a hundred, more -- it is imperative that you contribute, because when you do (no matter the amount, God bless your generosity!) you'll be making certain than NR retains the influence that our causes (liberty, free markets, free people, smaller government, American exceptionalism, and the crushing defeat of those who despise us because we hold to all that) so dearly depend on.

Please donate here. Many thanks.
