Please consider donating to National Review.
| | | A Final and Prayerful Appeal Dear NR Friend, Tomorrow, Monday, we celebrate Memorial Day. We end our Spring 2018 Webathon an effort to raise over $200,000 to fund some key projects at NR's website today. It's important that we steer clear of the hallowed day that tomorrow must be. So this will be the final ask as we remain short of our goal and I do indeed ask: If you've yet to do so, please make your donation to this critical effort. Do so here. As for why you should, read Rich Lowry's heartfelt plea. Any contribution would be of great help (go ahead send that big one you always wanted to make!). Even though our request for your selfless support has to do with NRO, I'd like to ask those of you who also get NR magazine and who have had a particular fondness for its excellent Books, Arts & Manners section to consider that donation in part to honor our late colleague, Mike Potemra, who for some 17 years used great skill and wisdom and charity and even love to make BA&M an always readable, enjoyable, high-calibre, and influential testament to the heritage that Bill Buckley established when he founded NR in 1955. A dear colleague (if there was ever an understatement, that's it!), Mike's sudden death last week has knocked us off the beam. Regardless of any donating, if you are the sort who remembers the souls of the recently departed, do say a prayer for Mike and his peaceful repose. And do also pray for those who made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our freedoms, including the freedom to publish exceptional and distinctly conservative commentary and analysis. God's blessings on you and yours and on this great Nation, Jack Fowler Vice President, National Review jfowler@nationalreview.com | | | | | | | You received this email because you indicated that you'd like to receive news, special invitations, and promotions from National Review.
