Week in Review: The Kochtopus Crushes Nashville Transit
Is the president more interested in posing as a victim of Justice Department/FBI abuse than in exercising his legal authority to expose and address it?
Under the rationale adopted by the IG with the implicit endorsement of the Justice Department, there is no basis for a prosecutor to investigate the president for obstruction.
The FBI contorted language and airbrushed out inconvenient facts to make sure that Obama, the boss of most of the wayward FBI and DOJ officials, would not be entangled in any scandal.
For all the investigations and IG reports, for all the revelations of scandals and wrongdoing, there will probably in the end be little consequence, simply because to those who matter, such illegality is seen as nobility.
