McConnell: Trump Will Sign Spending Bill and Declare National Emergency to Fund Wall

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday that President Trump will sign the recently-negotiated homeland security spending bill before immediately declaring a national emergency in order to unilaterally appropriate the funds for the construction of a border wall.
NEWS: McConnell says he just talked to Trump and that "he's prepared to sign the bill" to keep the government funded.
"He will also be issuing a national emergency declaration at the same time," McConnell says.
