The “free” things you can’t afford
Dear Fellow Conservative, There's no lack of politicians in Washington, D.C. willing to give your money away for a vote. In fact, "Medicare for All" is the latest battle cry of liberals like Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Senator Bernie Sanders, and other nearly two dozen sponsors who want the government to control your health care. But while health care for everyone sounds great on paper, in reality it will complete the total collapse of private health insurance that Obamacare started. That means soaring premiums, little to no patient choice, and long wait times for needed care – all while slapping taxpayers with a $32 trillion price tag for an inferior product! If we conservatives don't act decisively and act now, our failure will clear the way for total government control over your health care here, from cradle to grave. I know that you want better than that for your family. I do too. That's why The Heritage Foundation is developing and widely sharing patient-centric alternatives to the big government proposals of the left. But in order to maximize our effectiveness, we need your help today. I've been telling you for weeks about the $5.3 million challenge generously put forward by members of Heritage's Board of Trustees. With so much on the line for such an important issue, now is the perfect opportunity to take part. All the best, Kay C. James P.S. Fellow Conservative, health care is too important to leave in the hands of bureaucrats. To help Heritage continue to propose patient-centered, truly affordable conservative alternatives, please click this secure link to have your most generous gift counted towards the $5.3 million challenge issued by of our Trustees today: secured.heritage.org/board-challenge |
