Giuliani Refuses To Comply with Subpoena from House Dems

President Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has announced that he will not comply with a congressional subpoena for testimony and documents related to his Ukraine dealings. He delivered the news during an ABC News interview conducted Tuesday, the compliance deadline prescribed by House Democrats.

"If they enforce it then we will see what happens," Giuliani said.

Giuliani also said he has dismissed Jon Sale, whom he recently hired as his acting attorney during impeachment proceedings. He said he will retain new counsel if the House enforces the subpoena.

She had sued J&J alleging talc in its Baby Powder caused her disease. Johnson & Johnson is attempting to end litigation by tens of thousands of claimants who believe its talc products caused their cancer with a so-called "Texas two-step" bankruptcy. The maneuver involves offloading its talc liability onto a newly created subsidiary, which then declares Chapter 11. The goal is to use the proceeding to force all plaintiffs into one settlement – without requiring J&J itself to file bankruptcy
