Warren Reveals $52 Trillion Medicare for All Plan, Claims No Middle Tax Increase Necessary

Senator Elizabeth Warren’s (D., Mass.) medicare for all plan will cost nearly $52 trillion over the next ten years, according to a copy of the plan obtained by Fox News.

While the plan proposes a host of new taxes to cover the costs, Warren claims that plan will not require increased taxes on the middle class.

“We don't need to raise taxes on the middle class by one penny to finance Medicare for All,” Warren writes as part of the plan.

The proposal would be funded by roughly $20 trillion in taxes on employers, financial transactions and super-wealthy corporations, as well as existing federal and state spending.
