Good morning from Washington, where President Trump continues to encourage states to reopen responsibly even as the dominant media leans to the left to criticize conservative governors for doing so. Jarrett Stepman isn't having it. On "Problematic Women," Heritage Action head Jessica Anderson tells why states need to reopen with appropriate caution. Plus: digging into COVID-19 data; New York's mayor singles out Jewish students; reforming the World Health Organization; and a promising anti-coronavirus drug. On this date in 1932, five years to the day after Charles Lindbergh makes the first solo, nonstop flight across the Atlantic Ocean, fellow American Amelia Earhart becomes the first pilot to repeat the feat.

Consider how the media have treated Georgia, with its Republican governor, Brian Kemp, and Colorado with its Democrat governor, Jared Polis. Both states moved forward with aggressive reopening plans, but only one received a torrent of criticism from legacy media outlets.
