As we approach our nation's Independence Day, I want to tell you about an exciting campaign we are launching today—a campaign that I hope you and your friends, family, and neighbors will enthusiastically join.
We're calling our campaign #ProudAmerican. It's an opportunity for Americans of every walk of life to offer uplifting messages about why we are so proud to be Americans.
There's never been a better time than now to join hands in celebration of this great nation and the freedoms that we enjoy. The left is aggressively waging a campaign to tear down the country, lie about our founding, erase our history, and sow hatred and discord.
It is an indisputable fact that the United States is the greatest nation ever conceived by mankind. A country rooted in the ideals of liberty and justice for all. A kind and caring, bold and daring nation. A country whose greatness comes from our unshakable devotion to freedom.
The vast majority of Americans feel the same deep and abiding love of the United States as you and I do, but often feel pressured into silence by the forces trying to undermine our patriotism. We can be silent no more.
Let's join together and boldly share our pride in this great land. Let's join together to thank God for the blessings of life, liberty and prosperity that we all enjoy as Americans.
