106 Republican members of Congress have joined the 17 Republican state AG's to demand the Supreme Court overthrow the election

It shows that a very large number of intelligent, articulate, educated grown adults, popular enough to get elected to congress, or to become attouney general of a state, deeply and philosophically disagree with your position that “there is no evidence of election fraud” or that the election fraud issue matters to only a “few cranks”.

Further ~ 47% of voters believe that Democrats stole the presidential election.

Even a Large Number of Democrats Believe Biden Stole the Election

According to Rasmussen, 30 percent of Democrats believe that it’s “very likely” that their own party won the election through illegitimate means.Unsurprisingly, Republicans overwhelmingly believe the election was stolen with 75 percent, and Independent voters believe it was stolen at 39 percent. Overall, nearly half the country believes the election is illegitimate at 47 percent.

This is neither madness, nor some perverse personal loyalty to Donald Trump.

Their motive is loyalty to the people of the USA and the Constitution of the USA, and the honest belief that the election was stolen.

It has nothing to do with which person is the current elected president. In large part it just does not matter whether the alleged election fraud happened or not.

What matters is large numbers of Americans believe it did, as in they believe the ELECTION WAS STOLEN.

If you are going to sit there and tell “no evidence of election fraud exists“, do me a favor and don’t comment.

That is just not true, and I will delete, erase & block people over that. Because what matters is large numbers of Americans believe it happened, that matters, not shouting that it didn’t happen.

There is always election fraud in every US Election, and always evidence of it, the question is not “whether” there was evidence of election fraud, the more honest and legitimate question that a reasonable person would ask is “was it enough to throw the election”.

Where you have slender margins of victory, it is more likely to matter.

Those 104 congressmen, & 17 AGs, (or most of them) and 47% of Americans believe the election was stolen. If the election was stolen — appointing new electors in states where the election was tainted, or kicking the election to the House are the proper constitutional remedies.

The long term political cost — to Democrats — of ignoring this issue will be heavy. But — you will do what you are going to do.

Quoting from a comment:

The question, as phrased, is misleadingly loaded.

To wit, if “madness” were to mean following the Constitutional mandate that only the respective state legislatures may lawfully set the parameters for an election — then, by definition, this remedial lawsuit would qualify as such “madness”.

But, it is yet further self-evident that the far greater madness would be to permit the Democrat Vote Fraud Machine to proceed without recourse or due punishment.

People need to realize that “Trumpers/Trumpists/Trump supporters/loyalists” are not in love with Trump. We are in love with the constitution and America. We support Trump because he fights for the constitution and America.

It was never about Trump, it’s about freedom.

While true, their media talking heads tell them otherwise and that we are “cultists.” When you ask any of those people who shout that if they know why people voted for Trump or for Republicans in general, the typical go-to answer is usually them believing that conservatives are all racists and inbre

Travis BrillAnd they did all of it just to stop Trump from being elected/ re-elected. Then call for unity. Not realizing that once you’ve convinced a group of people that the others are evil they won’t just backpedal. The hate they created is a monster they can’t control.

Ah, but credit where credit is due. I don't care what anyone on the left thinks. Or anyone on the right for that matter. This is about freedom absolutely, without one doubt. But it's also about Trump. I can't think of a single person anywhere who would've gone up against what Trump has. Trump literally put his life and the lives of his family on the line so that we will remain free, enjoy liberty and be able to pass it down to generations to come. I'm not going to stand here and say, “oh, it's not about Trump, it's about freedom" because it is about Trump and subtracting him from this equation really is a slap in his face and does him a huge disservice.

Just a thought.
