Breaking: U.S. Intel Report Finds Saudi Crown Prince Responsible for Khashoggi Killing

The Biden administration released an intelligence report on Thursday that finds Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman responsible for the killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

“We assess that Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman approved an operation in Istanbul, Turkey to capture or kill Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi,” the report states, adding that bin Salman has “absolute control” over Saudi intelligence and security forces.

The report was compiled by the U.S. intelligence community during the Trump administration, but its release was delayed until now.

“We've made it clear that this administration will not sweep anything under the rug, and that President Biden will follow the law,” a senior administration official told Politico.
