It's Founder's Day

Fellow Conservative,

The nation faces all kinds of challenges today—and needs conservative policy solutions to those challenges more than ever. That's why I'm emailing you now.

On this day 48 years ago, The Heritage Foundation opened its doors. 1973 was a hard year for America: the Vietnam war had just ended, the Cold War still simmered, and the Watergate scandal was in full swing, creating deep uncertainty in the nation.

America weathered those challenges, and has changed a lot since then. Heritage, however, has stayed true to its principles, and has spoken up loud and clear for them since the day we were founded all those years ago. Since our founding we have not only thought tactically but also strategically about how to preserve freedom in this country. We're here to make sure that no matter what's happening in the nation, that freedom, opportunity, prosperity, and civil society continue to flourish.

We can only succeed if you stand with us, Fellow Conservative.

Will you be one of the 300 patriots who join us this Founders Day, to make sure that our conservative principles have a powerful voice in 2021? Your generous support will go a long way towards protecting the values you and I hold dear.

You can use this link to show your support right now: https://secured.heritage.org/founders-day

Act fast, because the campaign ends at midnight tonight.

Thank you so much for your commitment to America. We couldn't have lasted this long without you.

All the best,

Kay C. James
President, The Heritage Foundation

P.S. I'm counting in you to help make this next year one of the best. Support Heritage today, and together we'll stand strong for conservative values no matter what challenges appear: https://secured.heritage.org/founders-day
