The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will announce on Thursday that vaccinated Americans do not need to wear masks indoors in most cases, multiple outlets reported.
The guidance will call on Americans vaccinated for coronavirus to wear masks in crowded indoor settings, such as public transportation, hospitals, and prisons, but could allow vaccinated people to go without masks in schools and offices, a source told the AP. The announcement will also not recommend that vaccinated people wear masks outdoors at all, including in crowds.
