What is the difference between a riot and an insurrection? I ask in reference to the storming of the capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. I hear people refer to it as both an insurrection and a riot. What would make it an insurrection instead of a riot?

Amd A fantastic answer‼💯

The mostly peaceful and patriotic event in Washington on January 6 was neither a riot nor an insurrection. It was UNARMED citizens of our country, exercising their rights to make their voices heard. To which they have every right in the world to do.

To be sure, there were trespassers in a Federal Building and some of those did some damage to public property and should be, and have been prosecuted. However, the vast majority of those there on that day were exercising their RIGHTS peacefully and patriotically. Remember this is a city and building of the people and for the people, it is that simple.

It is now being revealed that the crooked FBI, was involved and helped to organize the mob and/or allowed it - so prosecutions could commence afterward. [1]

An insurrection is an aforethought-planned event, that was not the case, even according to our crooked FBI. [2]

A riot is what the BLM and Antifa do when destroying cities, government buildings, and police stations, and the like. These are heavily organized, aka George Soros, pallets of new bricks on street corners for throwing at the police, box trucks showing mysteriously with premade protest signs. [3]

It was not uncommon to see transport busses letting the rioters off and then parking blocks away to await their return after tearing up Jack.

In contrast, the mostly peaceful first amendment gathering on Jan 6 was not paid for by Soros, nor were pallets of bricks staged nearby for lobbing at law enforcement. It was a grassroots effort of which I am guessing there be more of.

The most significant act of violence was the - in my opinion - Murder of Ashli Babbitt who was an UNARMED trespasser, unlike the BLM and Antifa that burn buildings down. Ashlie was an Obama supporter but switched to Trump after Obama ran the country into the ground.

Ashli Babbitt was shot as she was attempting to breach the Speaker’s Lobby. Heavily armed forces were in the room with her and the crowd. As she appeared in the window, incompetent officer Lt. Michael Byrd lunged out of a side room and shot. There was no warning given. The details of the shooting were kept secret and Byrd’s fate was decided behind closed doors.[4]

The 250+ pound Capitol Officer could have easily pushed the unarmed female back out the window, but he chose to - in my opinion - murder her.

It was a fiasco from the beginning but had the Capitol Officers not open the doors and allowed the citizens in, then all this might have been averted. [5]

I encourage replies, just make sure you speak the 🇹🇷🇺🇹🇭, as I have.
