You can expose more Americans to the truth

Dear ,

It seems like each day, if not each hour, brings another example of the legacy media's inability to report on the news.

And yet, despite all the criticism the legacy media receives, there's never any sustained change for the better.

That's why news outlets like The Daily Signal are so important. And that's why we are asking for your support today.

Right now, there are so many things happening in America that affect citizens' lives yet rarely, if ever, get mentioned by the legacy media.

But it's news that we the people need to know if we're going to improve our country. And it's news that The Daily Signal is committed to covering. Just consider these stories The Daily Signal covered in 2021:

  • Rogue George Soros-funded prosecutors. In an exclusive series, Heritage Foundation legal experts Cully Stimson and Zach Smith exposed the outrageous decisions prosecutors around the country were making that have contributed to the crime waves in some of America's biggest cities.
  • What's really in the "Build Back Better" bill. While the legacy media regurgitated Democrat talking points for the huge bill, The Daily Signal reported on what was really in it. We detailed the generous handouts to liberals - including a taxpayer-funded bailout for the legacy media - and an enormous tax cut for rich Americans living in blue states.
  • What's happening in our schools. It's clear leftists see education as a key way to indoctrinate kids. That's why we focused extensively on reporting on education in 2021. We covered the case of a Rhode Island mom facing a lawsuit just because she wanted to know what her child was being taught in school. We fact-checked whether critical race theory was being taught in Virginia schools. We published an essay from a dad appalled that his son was shown a video promoting transgenderism.

Americans can't fight back unless they know what's happening in Washington, in their states, in their schools, and in their cities. There's a lot the legacy media doesn't want to tell you.

That's why we need your support.

Real journalism is expensive and time-consuming. It involves tracking down sources, poring over data, and interviewing people—while also being careful to fact check and report only the truth.

And the only way we can keep doing that is with help from you, our readers.

So this year, we hope you'll consider a gift to The Daily Signal to help us continue to inform you about what's really going on in this country.

You can donate now at this secure link: https://secured.heritage.org/tds-year-end/

Thank you for considering a gift in defense of your principles and the truth.

Sincerely,

Katrina Trinko
