Time to Stand for Parental Rights

July 28 2022

Good morning from Washington, where bureaucrats' intolerance of parent activism in schools is on full display. We need a Parents Bill of Rights, writes Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C. On the podcast, former Defense Secretary Mark Esper outlines why, despite China's threats, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi should go through with plans to visit Taiwan. Plus: which states maintained marriage is between a man and a woman; the FDA could make birth control easier; Florida sues over drag shows that welcome kids; and Larry Elder finds California's governor wanting. On this date in 1868, after being ratified by three-quarters of the states, the 14th Amendment to the Constitution goes into effect, granting citizenship to former slaves or anyone else born or naturalized in the United States.
