Stunning reversal of Trump's legal fortunes as lawfare fully backfires . . . Prosecutors painted a sweeping portrait of a president who allegedly tried to overturn the results of an election he knew he lost, hung on to classified documents he knew he should return and secretly paid off a porn star to keep quiet about an affair he knew voters would care about. But the four different cases against him have both boosted his third bid for the White House—and paved the way for him to enjoy an unprecedented level of authority if he gets there. While a Manhattan jury in May found Trump guilty on 34 counts in the hush-money case, jail time seems unlikely. His other cases have been delayed and likely curtailed in court. Instead of turning off voters with their detailed descriptions of misconduct, the prosecutions rallied supporters to his side. Wall Street Journal

Van Jones says Democrats are discussing 'how' to replace Biden, 'not whether' . . . Former Obama administration official Van Jones said Wednesday that Democrats, behind closed doors, are discussing "how" to replace President Biden at the top of the ticket, "not whether." The CNN commentator said the Democrats who defend Biden on TV have "completely different" conversations in private, amid growing concern in the party about Biden's standing as the presumptive nominee. Democratic donors devise plans to force Biden out . . . After several days of quiet griping and hoping that President Biden would abandon his re-election campaign on his own, many wealthy Democratic donors are trying to take matters into their own hands. Wielding their fortunes as both carrot and stick, donors have undertaken a number of initiatives to pressure Mr. Biden to step down from the top of the ticket. A group of them is working to raise as much as $100 million for a sort of escrow fund, called the Next Generation PAC, that would be used to support a replacement candidate. New York Times
Clip shows Trump calling Biden 'broken down pile of crap'
Biden claims to have eliminated traffic . . . Biden seemingly lost his train of thought as he stumbled through his very brief speech at a White House barbeque — bizarrely claiming that highway congestion no longer exists and nearly calling nemesis Donald Trump his "colleague. "I probably shouldn't even say that … anyway," the commander in chief said after the latter bumble to a crowd of military service members and their families. Biden trailed off several times in his four-minute speech, which was peppered with slurring, despite having a teleprompter at his disposal. New York Post
Kamala Harris calls Biden vice president . . . Kamala Harris accidentally referred to Joe Biden as the 'vice president,' echoing a verbal gaffe her boss made earlier, during a July 4 event at the White House. With many wondering if she could replace Biden as Democrats' candidate for president were he to drop out, she was positively giddy while giving the speech. She said: 'We give thanks to our commander-in-chief, the vice - the president of the United States! The extraordinary President of the United States Joe Biden!' Daily Mail

Taxpayer-funded project set to denigrate Ameria on its 250th birthday . . . Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee sent a letter to the commissioner of the America250 project, a 50 million dollar taxpayer-funded effort to coordinate celebrations and historical observances for July 2026, demanding answers for their anti-American history and funding of woke organizations. Lee discovered that America250 has a "Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" whose antiracism institute teaches "the fallacies of America's founding documents." He also found that its leadership has embraced discredited 1619 project theories basing all US history around slavery. Daily Caller
Biden slammed over Twitter account touting Pride Month — and not July 4: 'Shameful!' . . ., President Biden was roasted like a hot dog at a July 4 cookout Thursday over his official X account's banner — which still touted Pride Month and failed to acknowledge the nation's 248th birthday until after The Post inquired about it."Biden's July 4th profile banner is still all about pride month🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️Shameful !'' one X user ripped. Another person wrote, "Can someone please let Biden know #Pride month is over." "On July 4th, 'Happy Pride Month' is displayed from the banner of the POTUS' X account. Biden's handlers are getting sloppy,'' one user wrote. New York Post
The banner has since been changed. This is how it looked.

Vast DEI bureaucracy harming the armed forces . . . Diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the U.S. military are ineffective, a new Arizona State University study suggests. The study done by the university's Center for American Institutions argued that there is an emphasis on training new soldiers about social issues like "unconscious bias" and "intersectionality" in a way the center says runs contrary to typical American ideals. The study examined DEI plans in different sectors of the military, including DEI office staffing and education at academies like West Point. Daily Signal
