Trump plans to make Harris accountable for Biden presidency during debate . . . Former President Donald Trump plans to hold Vice President Kamala Harris accountable for President Joe Biden's "nightmare" administration at Tuesday's presidential debate, Trump advisers said Monday. Trump senior adviser Jason Miller, joined by Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida and former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, discussed Trump's debate strategy on a call with reporters Monday afternoon. Trump will focus on communicating his own "record of success" and highlighting how the Biden-Harris administration has "broken this country" when he takes the debate stage in Philadelphia, Miller said." ABC coverage 100% positive for Harris, 93% negative for Trump . . . A report from the conservative-leaning Media Research Center's (MRC) NewsBusters found that an analysis of "100 campaign stories" aired on World News Tonight, hosted by David Muir, found "25 clearly positive statements" made about Harris from "reporters, anchors, voters or other non-partisan sources," which represented a 100 percent positive spin on the outlets reporting for Harris. An analysis of ABC's reporting on Trump found "five clearly positive statements" and "66 negative statements," representing a 93 percent negative spin on the outlets reporting for Trump. Breitbart

Harris backed cutting ICE funding, sex change operations for detained migrants . . . When Kamala Harris ran for president in 2020, she expressed support for taxpayer-funded sex-change surgeries and transgender treatments for illegal immigrants, according to a questionnaire then-senator Harris filled out at the time. In the 2019 American Civil Liberties Union questionnaire distributed to all Democratic and GOP presidential candidates, Harris said she would use her executive authority to ensure that "transgender and nonbinary people … including those in prison and immigration detention" have access to "comprehensive treatment associated with gender transition," CNN reported Monday. Harris finally announces some policies, would federalize abortion on demand . . . The Kamala Harris/Tim Walz campaign's newly released policy page reaffirms their commitment to obliterating pro-life state laws in favor of abortion on demand across the United States. Harris pledged to sign legislation restoring an invented federal right to abortion, should she be elected. The Democrats use the term "reproductive freedom" as a euphemism for ending the lives of unborn babies via medication abortions and dismemberment abortions. Breitbart

Polling guru sees strong chance of Trump win . . . Polling guru Nate Silver and his election prediction model gave Donald Trump a 63.8% chance of winning the Electoral College in an update to his latest election forecast on Sunday, after a NYT-Siena College poll found the former president leading Vice President Kamala Harris by 1 percentage point. The results of the new NYT/Siena College poll, according to Silver, show that the results of the poll confirmed his election model's view that there was a "shift in momentum" in the race. Fox News
Silver, who has worked for liberal outlets like the New York Times and ABC News, also writes that Harris blew a "big opportunity" to move her image toward the center by choosing Walz instead of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.
Jill Stein could serve as a spoiler candidate in swing states thanks to Muslim voters: Poll . . . Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein could serve as a spoiler candidate again in critical swing states this November, due to a surge of support from Muslim voters who are disgruntled with both mainstream political parties. A poll from the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) revealed on Monday that Stein was the most popular candidate among Muslim voters in Arizona (with 35%), Michigan (40%), and Wisconsin (44%). Kamala Harris was most popular among likely Muslim voters in Georgia (43%) and Pennsylvania (37%), while Donald Trump led in Nevada with 27%. Just the News

GOP opposition appears to doom Speaker Johnson's initial plan to avert shutdown . . . Speaker Mike Johnson's (R-La.) opening bid to avert a government shutdown appears doomed to fail in the House this week amid widespread — and growing — Republican opposition, thwarting the top lawmaker's hopes of the proposal squeezing Democrats in both chambers. At least six GOP lawmakers announced that they will vote against Johnson's plan — which pairs a 6-month continuing resolution (CR) with a Trump-backed bill requiring proof of citizenship to vote — more than the number needed to tank the effort. The Hill
Don't listen to all the media hysteria about a government shutdown. First of all it's only a partial shutdown. Much of the government keeps right on going. And remember, bureaucrats do far less harm when they have the day off.
Reporter describes Trump's ear as 'normal and incredible and fine' . . . Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi says she was allowed to inspect Donald Trump's recently shot at ear during an interview, declaring it 'normal and incredible and fine'. Nuzzi, a reporter for New York Magazine, profiled Trump at Florida just a few weeks after the shooting. Trump tapped the spot where he was shot, which led Nuzzi to write: 'An ear had never appeared to have gone through less'. 'The particular spot that he identified with his tap was pristine. I scanned carefully the rest of the terrain." Daily Mail

Rock star Elton John said former President Trump's nickname for North Korean leader Kim Jong Un "was hilarious" in a video from Variety. 'Reagan' scores at the box office and among moviegoers, but not with mainstream critics . . . The new biopic "Reagan" is doing well at the box office and has achieved an A audience rating from CinemaScore, but most film critics have mocked it as hagiography. Conservative industry watchers say that's because critics, who raved about the Barack Obama biopic "Southside with You" in 2016, have a double standard against right-leaning content that audiences love. And they say the negative reviews scare off liberals who might dislike the film, potentially inflating its audience score. Washington Times
Imagine the blowback a critic would get from his friends in the media and Hollywood if he said he liked a movie about Reagan.

Biden abandoned 90% of Afghan allies in Kabul evacuation, House report finds . . . As the Taliban fighters were closing in on the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, American diplomats stared at a pile of passports they had collected from Afghan allies who had assisted the war effort and were seeking a special visa to get them out of harm's way. The U.S. officials decided to burn the documents rather than let them fall into Taliban hands. That, however, meant Afghans who had devoted years to helping America suddenly could no longer prove who they were as they rushed for the Kabul airport to try to catch one of the U.S. evacuation flights out of the country. Biden admin refused to give Nikki Haley Secret Service protection despite Iranian threats . . . A source close to Haley said she asked Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for protection on January 26, 2024, after the campaign received an increase in threats. Incidents included a would-be attacker trying to climb over a staffer to enter the car carrying Haley. On February 13, the Candidate Protection Advisory Committee informed the Haley campaign it was reviewing the candidate's request for protection. The committee voted in favor of granting Haley a protective detail, leaving the final decision to Mayorkas. Haley never heard back from Mayorkas and suspended her campaign on March 6. Daily Wire

City officials deny that Haitian migrants are eating people's pets . . . In a statement Monday, a spokesperson for Springfield, a city of 58,000 just outside Dayton, said there had been "no credible reports" pets or other animals had been harmed or abused by members of the growing immigrant community there. The clarification came after rumors spread in recent days that migrants, specifically members of its large Haitian diaspora, had been killing and eating pets and other animals. Newsweek
Apparently, the confusion stemmed from Ohio residents not being aware of the time-honored Haitian custom of caressing their pets with a fork and knife.
