Joe Rogan suggested very few will mourn UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson after suspected assassin Luigi Mangione was apprehended for the murder. Speaking to filmmaker Quentin Tarantino and producer Roger Avary, Rogan had little sympathy for Thompson. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) commented on the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by stating that "violence is never the answer, this guy gets a trial, who's allegedly killed the CEO of UnitedHealth[care]. An Illinois man allegedly attacked South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace on the United States Capitol grounds Tuesday over her views on trans-identifying men in women's spaces, Mace said. "I was physically accosted tonight on Capitol grounds over my fight to protect women," she said in a post on X. "Capitol police have arrested him. All the violence and threats keep proving our point. President-elect Donald Trump said he will appoint Kimberly Guilfoyle to be ambassador to Greece amid tabloid reports that Donald Trump Jr. wants to be rid of Ms. Guilfoyle, his fiancee. In a statement Tuesday evening, the president-to-be said that "for many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally. Anthony Weiner, the former Democratic congressman from New York and registered sex offender who served 18 months in federal prison for sending explicit texts to a 15-year-old girl, is running for office again. After weeks of publicly mulling a bid for New York City Council in 2025, Weiner has formally filed to run in the second district, which encompasses the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Prominent DC Synagogue Accused of Caving to Anti-Israel Protesters by Canceling Gallant Speech . . . A prominent synagogue in Washington, D.C., is facing accusations from the Jewish community that it caved to anti-Israel activists by canceling an event with former Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant. Adas Israel, whose members have included Supreme Court justice Elena Kagan and the late justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, called off the event just one day before it was set to take place on Monday night. Anti-Israel activists, who had threatened to demonstrate outside the synagogue, took credit for the cancellation. China Threatens Taiwan With Largest Military Drill in Decades . . . China made its largest show of force around Taiwan in decades in a time when President Joe Biden is seemingly less involved as commander in chief, moving over for President-elect Donald Trump. The Chinese navy deployed a group of 60 ships and 30 coast guard vessels off the coast of Taiwan this week in what appears to be its largest show of force since 1996, according to The Wall Street Journal Tuesday. Alex Jones keeps Infowars for now after judge rejects The Onion's winning auction bid . . . A federal judge in Texas rejected the auction sale of Alex Jones' Infowars to The Onion satirical news outlet, criticizing the bidding for the conspiracy theory platform as flawed as well as how much money families of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary shooting stood to receive. The decision late Tuesday night is a victory for Jones, whose Infowars site was put up for sale as part of his bankruptcy case in the wake of the nearly $1.5 billion that courts have ordered him to pay over falsely calling one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history a hoax.
